This policy describes the Notevoy web app. The person responsible for it is the individual you can reach at hello@notevoy.com. Replace that address before you publish.
What we store
- Account details: email address, name, and the login provider.
- The notes you save: title, summary, key points, action items, and the source text.
- Files you upload, in a private bucket, under a folder named with your user id.
- Monthly usage counts: how many notes you generated and how many seconds of audio you transcribed.
- Subscription status: plan, billing interval, and the customer id from the payment provider. We do not store card numbers.
Who else processes it
- Supabase hosts the database, authentication, and file storage.
- OpenAI receives the text you ask us to summarize, and the audio you ask us to transcribe, so the model can do that work.
- Dodo Payments, when billing is enabled, is the merchant of record. They process the payment, the invoice, and related tax. A Stripe adapter exists in the code and is not turned on.
- Vercel, or whichever host you choose, serves the application.
Why
We process this data to run the account, write the notes you ask for, enforce the plan limits, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information.
How long
Notes and files stay until you delete them or you delete the account. Usage rows stay so the monthly cap can be enforced. Payment records stay with the merchant of record under their own policy.
Your requests
Email hello@notevoy.com to ask for a copy of your notes, a correction, or deletion. Deleting the account removes the rows tied to your user id in our database. The payment provider may keep records they are required to keep.
